Carla Pomeroy, RMT, B.A.
Carla completed her massage therapy training and received an Advanced Diploma with Honours from Georgian College of Applied Arts and Technology in Barrie, Ontario and holds a certificate in Cupping Therapy. Since joining the Body Quest Health and Wellness Centre team in 2014, she provides on -site therapy for the Paradise Triathalon, Neveahs Lemonade Stand, and paddles in the Dragon Boat Races each summer.
Carla empowers her patients and gives them the tools to take charge of their recovery and get back to their lives.
When she is not working, you can find her outdoors: reading a mystery with her spoiled felines, biking, running or hiking out around the bay with family and friends.
If you see her, you will have "homework": exercises and hydrotherapy designed for you and updated regularly.
Carla values the multi-disciplinary environment and loves learning from each health professional involved with the patient.
It's good to mix (a little) humour with healing, and Carla can be seen wearing multi-coloured scrubs for each holiday or entertaining little visitors. When she is not working, you can find her outdoors: reading a mystery with two spoiled felines, digging in her garden, kayaking, going for a hike or four-wheeling around the bay with family and friends.
Favorite Phrase: 'I love to see you, but let's get you outta here!’
